WA-Wyndham

Parry Creek Farm is a peaceful resort on 120 acres, 20 mins from Wyndham. There are powered and unpowered sites as well as cabins. The unpowered sites are on the beautiful grassed area amongst many shade trees. There are trees in the powered area but there are dusty patches amongst the sparse grass.
There are two toilet blocks which serves the camp sites well. The pool is beautiful and there is a licensed restaurant if you don’t feel like cooking. We had a coffee by the pool which seemed very decadent as we hadn’t done any thing like that for a while.

The large lagoon is covered in lily pads, and apparently is full of fish. Two large salt water crocodiles have been removed from the lagoon over the past two years. You get a reality check when you see the crock cage beside the lagoon.

This was a delightful place to stay as the Marglu Billabong is only 20 minutes away and is an important site for the breeding grounds of water birds. There is a walkway and bird hide for viewing the birdlife. We went twice and spent a few hours watching the birds. It was fantastic.
