WA-Eighty Mile Beach

This park is situated between Port Hedland and Broome on the edge of the beach behind the sand dunes. The red dusty road to get here is about a ten klm drive off the highway.
A cyclone had hit the area last year so many of the trees had been uprooted or their trunks and branches snapped. There are some grassed sites but most are red dirt. The amenities are quite adequate for being such a long way from anywhere. The fishing, sunsets and shell collecting are the attractions of this park.
The shop has basic food items as well as some take away.
