This picturesque park is nestled in the foothills just 7 klms from the Adelaide CBD.
The amenities blocks are small, old but very well maintained and always lovely and clean. There is also a barbeque area, camp kitchen, swimming pool and a tennis court.
The park is full of beautiful old trees which give so much shade in the hot summer days.
Beside the park there is a walking and biking track up to the hills, hugging the creek most of the way.
We thoroughly enjoyed staying here. It is rather charming.
In the middle of the park is the remnants of an old tree. This tree was so large that it was used as a temporary shelter for aborigines and early Australians to the area many years ago.
