NSW - Nambucca

White Albatross Holiday Centre

The White Albatross is probably one of the best known of the caravan parks at Nambucca. It is also one of the most picturesque.

The camp ground surrounds a lagoon, which has been made by the building of the break wall, at the entrance of the Nambucca River. It makes for great walking and bike riding.
You could spend hours walking along the break wall reading the sayings that people have painted on the boulders.
At the entrance to the park is the White Albatross kiosk and small shop which is handy if you want a hamburger or snack.

The sites are a good size and the amenities block is large and clean. The outdoor camp kitchen is huge and has about 6 barbeques.

Nambucca has an island golf course in the middle of the river. Mike played there twice and really enjoyed it. The colour of the water here is so beautiful that you tend to want to just sit and ponder.
