This rest area is 273 klms south of Alice Springs and on the border. There are information boards about what to see in both states as well as a bit of history.
There are many parking bays for large vehicles. Fires are permitted and there is a wood barbeque available. Th
ere are two drop toilets which don’t smell which amazes me out here in this heat.A good place to stop.
